The Dutch team were subjected to 30 mins of racist chanting whilst training yesterday, is this setting the tone for the whole competition I wonder. Whilst the extreme right wing is treated with the contempt they deserve I have read lots of reports that suggest that it is ever increasing within Europe, and now the Eurozone crisis, immigrants are always the first to bear the accusations.

Whilst football and sport isn’t political, do we want players being subjected to racial abuse. UEFA have stated that any player walking off in a game will receive a yellow card, but whilst it is only a game there are more important issues that need to be addressed. I suggest that the leaders of every country should make a stance and recall the team, refusing them to participate in a hostile enviroment.

Or is it the sponsers that are calling the shots!
