The famous boat race between the two universities that perpetuate the class division in this country was forced to stop after a man was seen swimming between the boats. Fucking Excellent, this is probably the best funniest news all day, how dare the rotter ruin their spiffing jaunt on the river – does anybody really care about this event at all apart from the alumni from Oxbridge, oh and the BBC because it is the only sporting event they show live – even Sky don’t want it.
There is an answer comrade, and the answer is:
These guys love football and if it is being televised anywhere in the world these guys will find you a link to watch it over the internet for free. I couple of people I know watch football through the links provided, and although you may not understand the commentary (I say may as I know some people have a broad range of languages they speak, unlike me). It also gives you a chance to watch other teams apart from the usual favourites that Sky have.
What I really like about the people running it, is the charge they are asking for is to simply help contribute to create a better service, not trying to rip people off once they have realised there is a demand.
Congratulations on your success John, and I hope your site continues from strength to strength.
Hi there, my names John …, and I set up this website in 2004, just twenty minutes after this picture was taken.I was on holiday at the time, sat in a sports bar watching Manchester United versus Aston Villa (you’ll tell from the photo that I’m neither a Man United or a Villa fan!) which was being broadcast live from the UK – a match that was being played on a Saturday afternoon at 3pm, and therefore not shown on British TV – However it was beamed across the world for everyone ELSE to see!It was then that I found out about live football matches being streamed on the Internet – and made it my mission to bring all the live football streams together on one website so that football fans from the UK could actually watch their team play on a Saturday afternoon without needing to spend £50 on a ticket, or hoping that Sky or ESPN pick the game as one of their live games each week. So, Live Football.net was born, and seven years later, we’re still going strong. After crashing our servers almost daily due to the popularity of the site, we upgraded to some super-spec servers in 2007, and made the live football feeds members-only in order to stop them crashing every Saturday afternoon. We also introduced a small membership fee of £7.95 a year to cover our hosting and customer service costs. Once you’ve paid your membership fee, there’s nothing else to pay at all – you can watch as many games as you like for the whole year – and there’s more than 1,000 of them to choose from!
Live Football members now have access to every Premiership game being played (yes, even those 3pm Saturday kickoffs!), as well as every Champions League game, every game from the Europa League featuring British sides, all Home Nation Internationals, and selected games from the FA Cup, Carling Cup, SPL (including EVERY game featuring Rangers or Celtic), Serie A, Bundesliga, La Liga, and Football League.
In fact, we show every game for all of the following teams: Manchester United,Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham, Manchester City, Sunderland, Newcastle,Rangers, Celtic, Bolton, Blackburn, Stoke, Everton, Liverpool, Swansea,Fulham, QPR, West Brom, Wolves, Aston Villa, Wigan and Norwich.
Oh, and one more thing.. if there’s a game that you want to watch – and it’s not listed on Live Football.. then just let me know, and I’ll try and find a stream for you. If you have any questions about the service, or would like to know anything at all about Live Football, then please don’t hesitate to ask me.
All the best,
