Chemical Warfare – the hypocrisy.

Everyone gets appalled when chemical weapons are used, which is quite right, however western arms companies throughout the world produce, sell and make millions from selling all the components needed to make them.

It has been released that in 2012 the Tories gave a UK company a licence to sell large quantities of the two chemicals used to make serin (the chemical used in Syria). Apparently none of this went to Syria, but how can parliament be appalled when our country is producing the means. And if our country is producing the means you can guarantee USA and other will certainly be joining that profitable enterprise.

So it is fine to make and sell them, no problem with buying them but never use them. When a weapon is produced it only is a matter of time that it will be used, ask those who live in Hiroshima or Nagasaki. Did America suffer any repercussions for delivering not one but two atom bombs, but was that acceptable because we were at war? If that is the case is it not true that Syria are at war?

So by calling back parliament early to go to war, no to agree to war in principle, no to actually no all the facts before we get involved in an extremely complex conflict. Chemical weapons have been used in Syria 14 times, what makes now an urgency.

There is a war Mr Cameron and that is a class war; people in this country are struggling whilst others are filthy rich.

Mr Cameron really wants to go to war OR Mr Cameron really doesn’t want to upset the USA.

So Cameron wants to vote IN PRINCIPLE, about going to war. The UN will not receive the report until Saturday so why can’t it wait – is it because USA have already made up their mind. ‘We must show the world that using chemical weapons is bad, as it will stop others doing the same in the future’ – NO IT WONT, the same as the death penalty doesn’t reduce murder.

There have been two World Wars, which I think is enough, and both of them were started by countries trying to show their might, but who suffered……lots of innocent people regardless of nationality.

We still remember the pretence that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction!

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me!

Emergency protest: No attack on Syria

Syria protest

London: Downing Street, 5—7pm, Wednesday 28th August

Britain, France and the US are committing to another disastrous military intervention. Apart from the inevitable casualties, any attack on Syria can only inflame an already disastrous civil war and would risk pulling in regional powers further.

Most people in this country have learnt from the disasters of Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya. According to a Telegraph/YouGuv poll on Sunday only 9% of the British public would support troops being sent to Syria, and only 16% support sending more arms to the region. Our politicians however have learnt nothing.

We need the maximum level of protest to stop them plunging us in to yet another catastrophic war
