>As many of you know there has been a couple of marches and petitions signed to prevent the closure of South Norwood Library, and it appears that it has got a stay of execution.
Its a strange building, with several floors small floors but it’s packed full of charisma and……………..books. Tonight I drop my daughter off at the library for her new found club. Its a club that appears to be about the love of books, when I spoke to the librarian that ran it he explained that the club wasn’t like school, there are no rules they just make it up as they go along. Whereas can you do that.
I hope the library stays as it is a cornorstone of every society, well not South Norwood library specifically but you get my meaning. Dare I suggest that throughout history any society that becomes oppressive gets rid of their books!
Go visit the library before the fucking tories burn it to the ground!
