Did the trouble yesterday detract from the message of the main march, no it simply enhanced it, elevating it into a media frenzy about how evil anarchists scheme and plot to destroy and kill. How the fuck can anyone put ammonia in a lightbulb? The blac bloc were impressive yesterday, forcing their way to march down regent street onto Oxford circus whilst the main march was kept away from those shops who owe billions in tax. We did out best to keep up with them but they moved so fast it was quite impossible.
Yesterday showed that people are angry not just about the cuts but about the inequality of it all. If class was a thing of the past, the tories have well and truly resurrected it. Welcome home Class War.
