Horrible Histories are fantastic. I loved history but can see how some people find it boring. Horrible Histories have tackeld this head on and made all periods of history fun; from the great illustrations to the stupid songs, history has never been so cool.

Reading an article with Terry Dreary in yesterdays independent, brought great delight and a big smile to my face (those who know me know this doesn’t happen very often). When questioned about A C Grayling’s proposal of a New College for the Humanities, I quote:

“Call it what it is – a school for the elite, not for the human race. My motto is: it’s the duty of all righteous men to make war against unearned privilege, whether it’s bought or foisted upon you. The whole concept is ghastly and I’ll have nothing to do with it at all.”

Is it then ironic that Stephen Fry is presenting the BBC programme to celebrate the success and creative genius of Mr Dreary.
