I didn’t believe it but there is an actual sport, chess boxing – where the paticipants get to beat the crap out of there opponent, both mentally and physically. You have to be an experianced boxer and a class A statndard of chess player to participate; events are held regulary at the london Scala, which has just hosted the heaverweight fight fort the ‘Bobby Fischer’ Title.

I kid you not.
