The constant dilema for all working class?

Although I had several years of being in the political ether, (following children & moving around the country), over the last couple of years I have finally become politically active again. The dilema I now find is that life (work and the kid’s school) restrict  attending various “calls to arms”. What irony, cannot fully fight against privelidge and oppression as I am busy working for those who are most probably the privelidged and the oppressors.

It is difficult to find a balance between your own personal responsibilities and standing up for freedom and liberty of others. I believe it is important to get your children involved in political activities from an early age, but at the same time they need space to be care free and enjoy their childhood; you need to judge of what you can challenge your employer about and how much you need a job. This is the dilema that all workers face with families/responsibilities and a conciousness.

This post is mainly really an apology (or excuse) to myself, as I want to go to the demo at Eton on Wednesday, but haven’t been able to sort out anyone to pick the kids up from school. Alas full time revolutionary I can never be!

I hope myself and Lou are getting it right as Lily is actually looking forward to the Anarchist Bookfair, and Nye just loves lots of people being about!
