Tomorrow is the day that I finally get my allotment, and become a member of The South Norwood Allotment Association, but best of all is I will have a shed. I don’t know why but it feels like a monumentous occassion to be responsible for a plot of land with a shed……….with great power comes great responsibility…………. so from time to time I will be posting stuff about the size of my onions etc (note I did not use any innuendo).
I shall not be undertaking my new found freedom lightly or in solitude, as I have a few comrades to help; South Norwood Allotment Cooperative (SNAC for short) is born. The overall plan is for Christmas dinner 2012 to be provided entirely from the allotment, except for the fattened goose, (apparently livestock is not allowed).
