With UNITE rejecting the Governments new proposal of pension amendments, this year could start as last year finished. As Cameron and Osborne continue to screw anyone except the wealthy and the priviledged I believe more people will take to the streets next year. It’s a good time to get organised.
ALARM was created on the back of the success of the Whitechapel Anarchist Group in the top room in the Calthorpe Arms, to encompass all London Anarchists; over 80 attended. People have worked tirelessly to get ALARM established as a credible force to challenge the existing political structure and the inequalitywithin society, and to top it all everyone I have met from ALARM has been really genuine people.

Saturday 7th January 2012 10am-5pm
Conway Hall, 25 Red Lion Square, WC1R 4RLYou are cordially invited to a one day London anarchist conference hosted by Alarm at Conway Hall on Saturday 7th January 10am-5pm. The past twelve months have seen the political situation of the UK and London develop rapidly. This is only the beginning of a turbulent economic and social situation. We hope that this conference can give us a space as anarchists to reflect back on as well as look forward to fighting the class war that is currently being waged. We are hosting this conference in a comradely and constructive fashion and invite all those from the many headed hydra of anarchism and libertarianism to come together under the banners of mutual aid and solidarity.Stop Press: Latest speakers added to an already impressive list are NUJ President Donnacha Delong and Emily Apple from Fitwatch.
10am PROMPT start so no slouches………..meet ‘n greet with tea, coffee and selected preserves!
