Deputy PM Clegg and Baroness William’s has written out to all Lib Dem supporters explaining the position on the Health and Social Care Bill for England. Is the realisation gaining momentum that his political career has become the whore of babylon, riding her seven headed serpent.
Given how precious the NHS is, we want to rule out beyond doubt any threat of a US-style market in the NHS, that is why we want to see changes made to this bill that have been put forward by our Liberal Democrat team in the House of Lords to make sure that the NHS can never be treated like the gas, electricity, or water industry.
Does Clegg still believe that he has any say in what this Government is doing, or is it simply writing his own epitaph – I could have been a contender etc..
Lib Dem’s should pull their support from the Government and force the bill to fail rather then sell the NHS down the river.
