I am really looking forward to seeing Gavin Bryars , The Sinking of the Titanic performed live on April 15th. The performance at the Barbican is to be based on the live performance and recording for Touch made by Gavin Bryars with improvising turntablist Philip Jeck, such as the one at the Roundhouse London in May 2009 (which also included Gavin Bryars’s children as an additional string ensemble). It is planned to include visual elements from the version made in Philadelphia for Peregrine Arts with Ridge Theatre and film maker Bill Morrison and artist Laurie Olinder.
