but I do like Sunday’s to be a time when I can sit down,make a nice cup of tea and watch the world go by!
Just watched George Osborne state that they want to use Sunday’s within the Olympic time, to be open all hours. Great 24/7 convenience unless you are the poor person who is forced to work it. It’s bad enough that anyone who works for s supermarket is FORCED to work on Sunday even for the few hours that they are open (hence why Tesco Metro et al exist to get around trading laws).
People need to remember the more convenient life becomes for you the more inconvenient it becomes for others; a reaction to every action. It’s easy to say Britain should be open all teh time when you are not the one that will be forced to work it.
