Just saw an interview with a member of the 1948 GB basketball team, and it made me smile at what he said:
What’s so bad about coming second, nowadays you see people crying for coming second, it’s a marvellous achievement. I hope 2012 shares some of the spirit of 1948
I couldn’t agree more, winning isn’t everything.
