blood from the umbilical cord of new born babies can now be stored with a view to be used in the future if stem cell research takes off. The rich and wealthy are edging their bets on the health of their children, with the possibilty that from stem cell research everything may be cured. I don’t know a lot about the process or why blood needs to be taken from the umbilical cord but it’s the foundation for class war of the future, except the rich will be healthier to fight it!
