To be kind….

….Viva l’anarchie

The Sparkies, Cabbies and Students in full effect.

Today marks the start of the momentum to demonstrate against the unequal society that we live in. The electricians against the seven ‘greedy’ building firms that blacklist anyone in a union; the cabbies against the propsed VIP lanes for the Olympics; and the students against the abolishment of EMA and the raise in tuition fees. The streets of London will be full from Westminster (Sparkies), Trafalgar Square (Cabbies) and Stock Exchange (Students), and lets not forget full of police. It has been reported in the press that anarchists are going to bring a ‘sea of rage’ today, and it has been alleged that the police have been issued with baton rounds (plastic bullets) – although they have denied this in a statement at lunchtime , and from the letter printed on the fitwatch website, it looks that the police are gearing up for full on confrontation.

The telegraph has reported that the police have already had scuffles with the electricians, and that there are several red and black flags with the student march – ooooh the scary anarchists are out…..lock up your children, but only time will tell how the day will unfold. What is certain that Cameron et al are not the most popular people in London today.

It will be nice to see if anyone can get a red and black flag on top of the stock exchange.
