The people who come out with economic statistics have come up with figures of how a bank holiday cost the country over a billion pounds. Are they implying that all bank holiday’s should now be abolished, is it necessary for everything to be available 24/7.

If you look at British politics over the last hundred years, what has any government ever given workers. Nothing, there is always something that means we have to work longer (if you have a job), pay more and have less freedom; no Government goals are ever met, there is no pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Whilst money is always being made for the few, we will be pushed harder and harder to increase the profits for the minority.
