I asked a policemen at London bridge if he could tell me the way to the demonstration- he looked me up and down and grunted that it was down there, with a nod of his head. He didn’t look impressed.

At least I got onto London bridge station easily. I went to go into the entrance at Tooley street and was told it was now an exit only and I had to walk around. I looked at my stick and looked at him suggesting that he was having a laugh, and the police let me through all the ways that were ament to be exit only.
