Tomorrow is the long anticipated class war protest against the hegemony that is Cambridge University. The impetus for the protest was Mr Asbo, who has had his wings clipped and moved away from the area he had made his home; rowers on the river felt he was a danger so he was removed.

Cambridge has always been classed as one of the most prestigious Universities in the world, the main problem is that obvious inequality of backgrounds of the students that study there – the working class are an endangered species. Even if you do get the opportunity to study at Cambridge, how wealthy you are will soon have you put in your place by those where money isn’t an issue. Lavish parties, evening wear, summer in the bahamas – if you are a working class person it will be an alien world and how long would it be before you are alienated by the many.

Cambridge represents everything that was and still is, wrong with the world – an equality based on wealth.
