George Osborne’s ‘disappearance’, leaving junior minister Chloe Smith to take the flak from Paxman, has been described as cowardly by Tory MP Nadine Dorries. Quite right to as Cameron has probably berated him with ‘this is another fine mess you’ve got us into’ while twiddling with his tie.

Osborne obviously doesn’t have courage or conviction and I’m convinced he’s just making it up as he goes along. I can picture George sitting over his breakfast of Quails eggs and Bucks Fizz, having a pedicure, complaining that the electorate are never fucking happy, and what will it take to leave him alone.

A simple answer George, your resignation; a chancellor is meant to know about economics. Even Chloe Smith said the freeze would be funded by underspends in government departments but would not say from which ones, “It is not possible to give you a full breakdown at this point because the figure is evolving somewhat,”

Isn’t that code for noone knows what the fuck is going on!
