What a wonderful opera, another story that ends how it began, with self realization along the way. A very brave piece of work, and at nearly two hours the time simply flew by; you became absorbed into the investigation into Simon and Amy disappearance and their apparent entrapment  into the Sunken Garden. The story reminded me of the Cabinet of Dr Caligari, the strange journey to realize things were never quite as they first appeared.

Did the incorporation of media work with an opera, I’m not quite sure but I’m glad I’ve seen it, it may never happen again.
