Hague and Obama are all a little confused, Morsi, the western choice, didn’t create a coalition but tried to consolidate his own position with muslim brotherhood appointments, despite a only a weak mandate in the vote.

Now the military have taken over (a coup?) and led by someone that the US & UK trained. I’m sure the west is glad Morsi’s gone but cannot condone an overthrow of democracy.

I think that Hague is more worried that Britain will get ideas as there are more people in this country that don’t want to be governed by the Tories than those who do.
