Yes people are moaning that he claimed 3p for travelling 100m but fuck the 3p, why was he being driven anyway. Surely even the Tory scum can survive walking on public pavements for a few minutes. Other claims have included 24p for a 0.54-mile and 44p for a 0.98-mile journey. Perhaps by using his car, he was making space for other pedestrians; perhaps it’s a use it or lose it policy with ministerial cars.
