No not a call to arms to raise a campaign to Free Pussy Riot lead singer and save her from her hunger strike, but a call by Oxford University Students to spike girls drinks at an upcoming party. Yes our privileged few, who may well go on to lead our country (if the current bias continues) are being taught deception, rape and misogyny all in one email.

Often, Oxford seems to operate under the belief that women, particularly young and vulnerable women, are not real people. Critics will gesture towards the proverbial “few bad apples” but the problem is deeper: the whole orchard is diseased and action must be taken.

I hope action is taken but will no doubt be brushed under the carpet.
