As Assad accepts Putin’s proposal, Obama is left whispering to Cameron:

Oh lord our God
Help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells
Help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of the dead
Help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of the wounded
Writhing in pain

Oh lord our God
Help us to waste their humble homes in a hurricane of fire
Help us to wring the unoffending hearts of their widows with grief
Help us to turn them out with their children to wander the waste
Of their desolated land

We beseech thee o worthy lord
Blast their hopes and black the lines on their bitter pilgrimage
Make heavy their steps and water their way with tears my Lord
Stain the white snow with the blood of the woundeds’ feet my Lord
And we ask it in the spirit of war

A prayer for war, a prayer for war

What is that ringing? Is it the death bell knoll for Mr Cameron?

So by calling back parliament early to go to war, no to agree to war in principle, no to actually no all the facts before we get involved in an extremely complex conflict. Chemical weapons have been used in Syria 14 times, what makes now an urgency.

There is a war Mr Cameron and that is a class war; people in this country are struggling whilst others are filthy rich.

Mr Cameron really wants to go to war OR Mr Cameron really doesn’t want to upset the USA.

So Cameron wants to vote IN PRINCIPLE, about going to war. The UN will not receive the report until Saturday so why can’t it wait – is it because USA have already made up their mind. ‘We must show the world that using chemical weapons is bad, as it will stop others doing the same in the future’ – NO IT WONT, the same as the death penalty doesn’t reduce murder.

There have been two World Wars, which I think is enough, and both of them were started by countries trying to show their might, but who suffered……lots of innocent people regardless of nationality.

We still remember the pretence that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction!

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me!

Emergency protest: No attack on Syria

Syria protest

London: Downing Street, 5—7pm, Wednesday 28th August

Britain, France and the US are committing to another disastrous military intervention. Apart from the inevitable casualties, any attack on Syria can only inflame an already disastrous civil war and would risk pulling in regional powers further.

Most people in this country have learnt from the disasters of Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya. According to a Telegraph/YouGuv poll on Sunday only 9% of the British public would support troops being sent to Syria, and only 16% support sending more arms to the region. Our politicians however have learnt nothing.

We need the maximum level of protest to stop them plunging us in to yet another catastrophic war

Did the intensity of the sun burn the British Flag

What did the powers that be at The Sun expect, in response to their article in Argentina has burned the British Flag. Oh what joy the Sun must be having stirring the pot of jingoism.

I’m sure before its finished Argentinian restaurants will be attacked probably in Luton and many of the public will be baying for blood……baying for war.

If you seen films like wag the dog you have to consider as to whether the whole thing is being manipulated in an attempt to prove that the Tory party are a party of strong Government.

So it’s ‘The Sun’ that controls our foreign policy.

Clueless Cameron, Falklands, war

There is no need for leaked emails between downing street and the press, as The Sun fully takes control of the situation ahead of the Govenment. An advert was placed by the Sun in the Argentine press basically telling them to fuck off and leave us Brits alone –

Carole, a curvy 21 year old, from Bognor who wants to be a brain surgeon when she is older, has two things for the Argetinians – Hands Off

That was the advert that was pulled at the last minute but the message is still the same.

Where is Cameron when all this is happening……….sipping with champagne with Murdoch and Rebekah Brookes.

Hell Broke Luce – The best anti war song ever written?

A masterpiece from Tom Waits’ Bad As Me’ album

I had a good home but I left
I had a good home but I left, right, left
That big fucking bomb made me deaf, deaf
A Humvee mechanic put his Kevlar on wrong
I guarantee you’ll meet up with a suicide bomb
Hell broke luce
Hell broke luce

Big fucking ditches in the middle of the road
You pay a hundred dollars just for fillin’ in the hole
Listen to the general every goddamn word
How many ways can you polish up a turd
Left, right, left, left, right
Left, right
Hell broke luce
Hell broke luce
Hell broke luce

How is it that the only ones responsible for making this mess
Got their sorry asses stapled to a goddamn desk
Hell broke luce
Hell broke luce
Left, right, left

What did you do before the war?
I was a chef, I was a chef
What was your name?
It was Geoff, Geoff
I lost my buddy and I wept, wept
I come down from the meth
So I slept, slept
I had a good home but I left, left
Pantsed at the wind for a joke
I pranced right in with the dope
Glanced at her shin she said nope
Left, right, left

Nimrod Bodfish have you any wool
Get me another body bag the body bag’s full
My face was scorched, scorched
I miss my home I miss my porch, porch
Left, right, left

Can I go home in March? March
My stanch was a chin full of soap
That rancid dinner with the pope
Left, right, left

Kelly Presutto got his thumbs blown off
Sergio’s developing a real bad cough
Sergio’s developing a real bad cough
Hell broke luce
Hell broke luce
Hell broke luce

Boom went his head away
And boom went Valerie
What the hell was it that the president said?
Give him a beautiful parade instead
Left, right, left

When I was over here I never got to vote
I left my arm in my coat
My mom she died and never wrote
We sat by the fire and ate a goat
Just before he died he had a toke
Now I’m home and I’m blind
And I’m broke
What is next

They are positioning themselves for war to save public support

argentina, Falklands, war

As the Govt pray that the welfare reform will be passed, George Osborne telling people not to be ‘anti business’, the NHS reform becoming so poisonous no health profession will touch it, Cameron will look to the Falklands as a way out – just like Thatcher before him ( fuck me it is a revival of the 80’s). Argentina has gone to the UN as Cameron shrugs his shoulders and says ‘what ……we are not doing anything that isn’t routine’ – keep poking that fire Cameron I’m sure it will catch soon.

It will be all pomp and splendour as our boys go off to defend a rock that is technically Argentina’s, the Queen will have her tear in her eye as Wills misses her big day due to manoeuvres on the other side of the world. This time it will be personnel, the hand of god etc.. I’m sure even David Beckham will sign up. The public will unite behind the Government for the difficult but firm decisions they have had to make……and roll on another decade of Tory incompetence.

History does have a habit of repeating itself.

Whilst Christmas shopping yesterday in uxbridge I came across the above shop.

I for one am sick of the empathy that we are all meant to have with soldiers. They are only doing a job of there choosing
