Having got rid of all my vinyl I had a recent yearning to listen to Creaming Jesus again, so bought their final live gig album – The End of an Error. The artwork was also fantastic and by Tank Girl creator Jamie Hewlett I think. I remember seeing them in 1991 at Camden Underworld with Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, and in 1992 at Edwards No 8 with Silverfish; both were fantastic gigs and I used to wear my ‘Nailed up for Nothing’ T Shirt with pride.
Imagine my surprise to discover that Andy (lead singer) is now singing with ‘The Men Who Will Not Be Blamed For Nothing’ – a steampunk band; a genre that I have only recently discovered (even though I have been listening stuff in the genre for ages) – double bonus.
