The foolish man build his house on the sand – take heed Mr Osborne.

class war, english dogs, house on sand

So the economy is back to the level that it was before the financial crisis, however take heed Mr Osborne, take heed. It is an economy based on sand; cheap loans, consumerism, property, nothing concrete to actually base the future of this country on. Once the credit runs out and loans aren’t being paid we will be back in the same place. It’s how the crash happened in the first place, greed based on consumerism – no money, borrow some and spend.

Like everything the tories have done throughout history, it is a short term knee jerk reaction – their only goal is to keep the status quo and in order to do that they need to remain in power. It is and always has been a class war.

The Pub – a celebration of working class society.

class war, community, Pubs

Fuck your shit wine bars, and your gastro pubs – you can’t beat a traditional public house. Throughout my life, moving from place to place, you could always get to know the area and meet people by drinking in the local pub. A local pub can be a centre point for a local community for those who frequent.

I always get excited visiting a new pub – what beer do they have, the décor, the smell and what food – full marks to a pub that stills sells a ham roll on the bar. The disappointment when you realise its full of middle class wankers, blaring out Coldplay with a menu that’s no cheaper than 12 quid for a shit burger that’s allegedly been hand reared by some Cotswold farmer who knows Jeremy Clarkson don’t you know. Those who know me realise I only drink in ‘untrendy’ places, enjoying the atmosphere of an establishment that hasn’t been gentrified. It’s places like these that help keep history alive – every old pub has a tale, and by closing them destroys a little bit of this country’s heritage.

Recent legislation and greedy breweries have threatened our national heritage, and pubs are closing all over the country. You can guarantee if the pub wasn’t directly associated with the working class, the government would have done a lot more to support the industry.

Hoorah for Charlie Morgan and his fuck off attitude to Chelsea

ball boy, Chelsea, class war

I applaud Charlie Morgan for showing that you can’t fucking kick people just because they are not doing what you want. Hazard should have been sent off for pulling the lad to the ground in the first place, let alone kicking the lad. A ball boy is just as much part of the game as the players. If a ball boy kicked Frank Lampard we would never hear the end of it. Class war on the football field!

Charlie has brought the law in and as a mark of respect I think all the Chelsea team should give him one days wages to say sorry, lets face it they didn’t earn it.

At least now we have a football final for football fans and not for the corporate money men.

Westminster Council plans to kill the poor!

bullying, class war, obesity, supermarket

As usual rather than addressing the root of the problem, Westminster council are planning to cut the benefits of obese people, unless they sign up to and attend exercise classes. How dare anyone make people jump through hoops to claim their benefits; address a problem yes but not some half assed scheme that is tantamount to bullying.

What about the price of fresh food? Most people know what they should be eating but cannot necessarily afford it, and processed food is becomming cheaper and cheaper. The reality is people try and buy as much as they can for their money and there is a class war in the supermarket.

How do you actually ethically shop if your broke?

class war, ethical shopping, shopping

It’s a genuine question. One, I don’t understand how any business can be that ethical in  capitalistic free economy, unless they are non profit making,  a cooperative where all those involved in the company actually benefit and nobody or nothing was exploited in the process.

Then if a company actually meets all this criteria, is the price actually affordable in comparison to the giant corporations.

If not how can you be ethical if you are broke?

I’m sure Jamie ‘ Fucking’ Oliver can have his food hand reared by peruvian farmers, and then delivered to his house whilst he plant lots of trees to be carbon neutral and feel pretty fucking smug. But when Tesco offer two chickens for a fiver I know what the reality is.

So again I ask How do you actually ethically shop if your broke.

PLEASE NOTE Starbucks doesn’t come into the equation as nobody in their right mind pays £3 for a cup of foam, they pay £1 from a small coffee shop / cafe!

It is CLASS WAR in the supermarket!

Is it a coincedence that as the Queen visits the Cabinet, the Government announce that the redundancy notice period will be halved.

I’m sure they all laughed and smiled as they bond over how they never have to worry about feeding their families – lets all fuck the workers

Its a fucking disgrace!

Vegetarianism in religious class war.

class war, expensive luxury items, meat free, vegetarian

Reverend William Cowherd. born almost 250 years ago on Sunday 16 December, demanded his congregation eat a meat free diet. He believed that God inhabited every animal and as such it was a sin to eat meat. His Beefsteak Chapel was the country’s first vegetarian church, and his followers – aptly named Cowherdites – went on to form the Vegetarian Society.

At this time the poor would eat the cheapest meat, featuring a great deal of offal – sometimes stomach or intestines withfresh fruit and vegetables being only afforded by the wealthy.

Evidence of class war based on the quality of food you can afford. Those who have no money, eating offal and guts, will burn in hell like the heathens they were. Not a lot has changed really – fresh fruit and veg can still be seen as luxury despite us all being told they are essential!
