Anarchists, Dale Farm, dale farm eviction, Eviction, ian bone

The attempted eviction of Dale Farm has been postponed until Thursday as a judge has ruled that the Council hadn’t made their intentions clear to the residents. I wonder what those intentions are – we are going to force you off using physical violence – that’s what the residents fear.

Ian Bone (how does he find these stories so quickly?) has posted that the Daily Mail are not only carrying on their attack on Dale Farm but continuing there fear mongering of anarchists……I’m sure Dale Farm was set up as a rouse for anarchists to gather to plot against the Jubilee next year……Oh wait have I just give the mail reporter another angle? What a load of bollocks.

Set in concrete, neck tied to gate – let battle begin.

Dale Farm, dale farm eviction, prejudice, protest, Travellers, united nations

These are the tactics that are being employed at Dale Farm. Two people have had an arm set into a large barrel of concrete, and there has been a notice put outside the gates that a woman is attached to the gate by her neck; any attempt to open them will snap her neck. Tha balliffs are at the gates of Dale Farm, and there task will not be easy; denounced as unlawful by delegates of United Nations, and mass support from Travellers from all around Europe, Basildon council maintain their stance.

The spokesperson for Dale Farm has stated that they are willing to go but they need a place to go. Well you can’t say fairer than that. Apparently there is a plot of land in Cambridge owned by the council that would be suitable, but Basildon have yet to turn up to negotiate with the Dale Farm representatives. It reinforces the view that this isn’t about Greenbelt issues but simply prejudice against the travellers.

The date of the supposed eviction has been set for the week commencing 19 September.

And yes the Daily Mail is still promoting fear and bollocks down at Dale Farm:

There is always bias as Dale Farm deny ‘trouble makers’ claim

The residents of Dale Farm have issued a statement to counterbalance what the press are writing about the growth of their support, however the press are still putting a bias on their reporting. Just read the sentence from the BBC website:

“People fighting eviction from the UKs largest illegal traveller site have denied claims they have been infiltrated by trouble-makers.”

The site isn’t actually illegal as the families of Dale Farm own the land, it is just any building / caravan; to simply describe the site as illegal suggests that they have no right to be there not that planning permission hasn’t been given.

Kathleen McCarthy, a resident of the site has said

Anybody who is welcomed on this site will resist in a peaceful way. Theres been rumours going round that they [trouble makers] have come in and taken over our camp and that’s not the real story. We invited these people here and they are showing us great respect and great support.

A supporters camp called Camp Constant has been set up by Dale Farm and will be manned 24 hours.

It’s all a different situation to the Daily Mail report yesterday. Whilst there is lazy journalism (or clever) to taint the story in order to fan the flames of public fear.

If you are want to join in the support for Dale Farm, Amnesty International have organised a email protest, click on link below to send an email to the appropriate people:

Anarchists, Daily Mail, Dale Farm

What is the Daily mails problem? (Actually what a stupid question. I think people could name thousands and thats not even considering the readership). As if Gypsies weren’t bad enough, trying to make homes for themselves on a plot of land they own, now anarchists and students (can’t students be anarchists or does that start to get confusing) are arriving. Fuck me, the Daily Mail doesn’t half perpetuate fear whenever there is a protest in favour of all things that aren’t endearing to the Daily Mail readership.

Bring back hanging, fox hunting is an effective form of pest control, conscription would sort them all out.

Have you seen the pictures of the families at Dale Farm? They don’t look like they are up to standing to brutal police tactics. What’s wrong with fellow citizens helping out there common man with their struggle; I bet the families there don’t feel hijacked  If you saw a drowning child would you instinctively jump in and save them or would you first worry about ruining your clothes (it’s a a Nicole Fahri don’t you know).

A bit preachy I know but when you see headlines like that it makes my blood boil. What future headlines could they publish:

Anarchists to pose as dog walkers to get near Royal Family

Anarchists will eat you alive if you look in a mirror and say Kropotkin Kropotkin x 3.

Daily Mail – Fuck it and its readership.

Barricades are being reinforced and they are prepared for a battle.

Severely ill traveller Mary Flynn, 72, who lives at Dale Farm near Basildon, Essex, applied for an injunction to stop her eviction from the site where 80 families live.

Mrs Flynn suffers breathing problems and also uses an electric nebuliser.

But the case was rejected by judges at the High Court on Wednesday afternoon.

Good Luck to Dale Farm.
