Tuesday is the day that parliament should pass the bill to allow same sex marriages. Why titanic you may ask?

If Cameron ignores the outrage of the backbenchers the Tory party, there may be a mass exodus from the party, fundamentally destroying the historic ethos of the party…… Hoorah!

If Cameron listens to them, he has gone against a key aspect of the election manifesto, the coalition agreement and millions of voters. The damage will be done and it will be the end of Cameron’s leadership, and a party in turmoil…..hoorah!

The irony is that the Tories have repressed same sex couples for years, it will be wonderful if this issue fundamentally strikes a blow to the heart of selfishness and greed, personified by Conservatism.

Death to the Tory party, long live liberty.

Remember Dunkirk – Cameron to tell Europe to sort it out or we are off!

As the biggest anti climax in recent weeks nears it’s climax (!?), Cameron, it is implied, is to go all Gung Ho and tell Europe how it will be. Is this an attempt to prove he is a strong leader with Boris looking over his shoulder and older Tories ready to string him and Osborne from the nearest lampost for their incompetence -is this the last roll of the dice.

Will we have a referendum, I’m sure the Daily Mail would love the opportunity to tell the French and Germans to fuck off – but can the public to be trusted to vote rationally and not be swayed by the jingoistic press.

We should have never entered Europe anyway and tied links with the emerging economies of the far east, but whilst we are in Europe we should try and make it work. The world is becoming a smaller place and Britain should realise it isn’t that Great anymore – even when it was the empire was based of oppression, corruption and greed.

A change is gonna come!

and may the new year bring the demise of oppression, greed and the Tory Party.

There are so many people who have died this year who have spent their lifetime fighting for a better world and then there is Cameron & Osborne – where is the justice!

If Croydon North By Election is anything to go by………..

by-elections, labour, tory party

then our current democratic system can be compare to a Norweigan Blue!

Only 26% turned up to vote; is it apathy, is it cold or are people fed up with bollocks media hungry candidates who only want to further their own career? Should people be forced to vote, and if so can’t you reject all the candidates stating that you don’t want any of them to represent you?

Choice is only good if the options available are palatable. Politicians need to take a long hard look at the needs of modern society and how these are best served.

Oh yes, Labour won with 64% of the vote; approx 15,699 votes – what a fucking joke. It is the votes for those that lost are more telling:

  • 161 people voted for the Richard Edmonds, National Front, who, whilst in the BNP, admitted that they were 100% racist
  • 1,400 people voted for Winston McKenzie, who agrees that a gay couple adopting a child is equivalent to child abuse
  • 707 people voted for Lee Jasper, who stood for Galloway’s Respect party, who has refused to apologise for stating that rape sometimes is not rape just a misunderstanding.

That’s 2,268 people in the North of Croydon who positively voted for people whose views do NOT have any place in a cohesive community.

Today is Croydon North By-election but I wonder how many candidates actually know the area.

The one thing that pisses me off about by-elections is how political parties manipulate the electorate in order to progress an individuals career rather than specifically represent the needs of the constituency. If you don’t live in the area you are simply bound to all the consultants and advisers – who make a fuckin packet – in order to get a view.

Another thing I have is ‘trendy’, ‘down with the kids’ slogans; Labour are using Steve4Croydon. Fuck me is that the best that Milliband et al could think of………very original – and he’s based in Lambeth, a fucking joke.

South Norwood & Thorton Heath need a hands on MP, who is willing to fight for minorities rights, both locally and nationally. Since Croydon Council became Tory, South Norwood has been continually ignored and mistreated. It not only needs strong representation but someone who works for the area NOT the party.

What it doesn’t need is candidates that advocate for rapists and candidates that are homophobic.

So the cabinet is to be reshuffled to give extra zest and new life to the policies – do they mean those policies that are dead or have failed.

Meanwhile Lord Owen has advised that Clegg is dropped from the party and Vince Cable should be put in place to save the Liberal party.

Lets face it the coalition is just a farce.

all tories are evil, clear objective, government, politics, stategic, status quo, Thatcher, tories, tory government, tory party

The Public Administration Select Committee  has stated that the Government lacks strategic thinking in it’s approach to its polities, it continued to state the aims of the coalition were “too meaningless to serve any useful purpose”. The Government have retorted stating it had “a very clear objective to bring down the deficit” and restore economic growth.

How vague is that, I think every Government this side of the war has had that as its agenda, no Govt is going to say ‘lets spend shit loads of money and destroy all of British Industry’…….wait a minute that what Thatcher did, although she didn’t actually say thats what she was going to do (unless you read between the lines)……lest I digress.

Throughout British History the Tory party have never had any long term agenda apart from to maintain the status quo of priveledge and power; a party of knee jerk reactionary policies to placate the core of their electorate but ultimately only favour the already rich and wealthy, never learning from any previous Governmental errors. The biggest fundamental change within the 20th century was the NHS, broughtin to benefit the majority of society, the fact that the Tories has ultimately destroyed it only goes to highlight whom their policies are aimed at.

Under a Tory Government history will always repeat itself.
