Soon they will force every company to take on more people on zero hour contracts but never give them any work, thus coming off the unemployment figures.

inSpare a thought for all those workers at Jessop’s, who will no longer have a job at close today.
What a smack in the face, find out the company is entering administration a couple of days ago and now no job…….Happy new year.

As the leading MP’s jet off to whatever luxurious location, news breaks that if the recession continues, a lot more businesses are looking to downsize; a maths campaign group raising concern about the proposed changes to maths curriculum, suggesting it’s unworkable.
Whether it’s the immediate future of employment, or the future potential learning and employment of our youth the Govt are not addressing the issues at hand. It’s the problem of having priviledged people run the country, if they are crap at their job they can rely on there trust fund / inheritance to support themselves.
Parliament should be in session now not fucking off on holiday. They should be investigating how much the Olympics cost us and the implications this has, as we all know the revenue raised by the Olympics is not the same as that which was predicted – telling us how the shortfall going to be accounted for. Being an MP shouldn’t be a job it should be a way of life – continually striving for the good of your constituency.
As people get their redundancy and begin the depressing process of signing on, they can rest assured that our country can run, cycle, row etc better than we thought they good.

inReading various other blogs and talking with friends / family about the political situation this country finds itself in, I’ve realised that the only thing positive left is hope. I didn’t want this blog to be ‘fuck this and fuck that’ (but it can be a bit like that), I just want to lift the blinkers away from people’s eye, let the scales fall away. I worry for my children and what will be available to them in the next ten years as everything is going to cost a fortune – further education, health service, food, fuel etc.. The economy has collapsed, but the world economy has collapsed not just ours, and the bankers aren’t the scapegoats – ask the Lehmen Brothers.
Whilst the Tories are busy blaming Labour for what was actually a world situation they are not addressing the real issues – if there are no jobs, then people can work, then less income for the Government. I would hate to be a teenager now; I always had the knowledge that there was work out there or I could go to Univesity on a full grant. The Olympics and the Golden Jubilee are just a smokescreen to cover up our failing society, with the Govt flogging a dead horse to stand up in all it’s glory as the world’s eyes are on us.
The UK population is over 62 million people, just what would the Government do if just half of that refused to do what they say; imagine over 30 million people saying a big FUCK you to the Government – we are not happy with the way society is going. Equality and justice appear to have left our constitution and it’s time to get them put back on the agenda; I have always admired those protesters who are willing to go to jail for their cause, but every person’s circumstances are different. I don’t know how or with what that people can become united and fight for our future, not for the future of the rich and privelidged.
We need something, we need hope that everything will be OK, that the battle isn’t useless it can be won.

It comes to something when the Tories offer up free labour on a plate to industry (you scrounging bastards are showing enough deference, we must belittle you when claiming benefits), and industry and charities have thrown it back. Fair enough it’s mainly to do with the fear of public reprisals than a moral thing, but at lest they can taste when something is unpalatable. The policy was simply a reintroduction of slavery – this time slavery cannot be distinguished by colour only those who circumstances have dictated that they haven’t got a job.
Working 30 hours for 4 – 6 weeks to ‘earn’ your benefits is a fucking joke. If a company has work that requires somebody to work that long then employ them on a fair wage for a fair days work. As usual you will find qualified or professional people who have hit hard times being forced to work in Tesco even though their field by be nuclear fusion. If you miss even one hour you are forced to repeat a whole week.
This is Cameron’s Big Society in full action, so called volunteers (these haven’t materialised so lets use doley scum), to take up jobs for nothing. I posted earlier this week about unemployment and it’s refreshing to know that even greedy corporate industry won’t back the Tories on this policy of Slave Labour.

I am very fortunate to have always been full time employed since I left university. There was a time where I worked for an agency and experienced the constant worry on a Monday morning where I hadn’t any shifts for that week. The shift usually came through but then I was lucky. The figures released this week shows unemployment is rising not just by using British statistics but by using the American way of studying the figures, unemployment is more like 6 million. This figure includes those whoi have taken part time work but are ideally looking for full time work.
We are entering a massive paradox, our comrades who are coming to what they thought would be the end of their working life, are finding that they cannot afford to retire, which then takes up a position which another person could fill. It has been shown that banks are not being as forthcoming with their business loans, so small firms cannot expand or are closing. There doesn’t appear to be much opportunity available for the youth, or for those whose industries have gone or businesses closed. What can you expect when those governing our country are backed by trust funds and don’t need to work a day in their lives.
There is an argument for the Government to work out a severance package for those over a certain age, to enable them to retire, creating a vacancy for somebody else. The package can be worked out by the amount of benefits and services that are involved with unemployment, and would be potentially saved if that person was working. The idea needs a bit of work, well quite a bit of work but something needs to be done. One thing that has been tried and tested and was an utter failure is YTS – slave fucking labour.
Equality and freedom of choice is great as long as the decisions taken don’t begin to have a detrimental fact on the rest of society. It is a fact there are not enough jobs to go around, there will never be enough jobs for 100% employment, there is a certain percentage of the population who don’t actually want to work – so why force them.

To quash the spread of poverty, it has been announced that the unemployed will be culled to prevent the risk of it spreading around the country.
On a different matter it was announced that the badger population with tb has risen to 2.6 million.
Wait I think I may have got those stories a little confused, or am I just stating what Cameron is thinking.
