Ed Milliband won’t change a fucking thing.

So Ed states his new policies will change the shape of politics and the Labour Party……….laugh, I nearly voted Tory. Getting rid of Union support will only make Labour more appealing to the heartless business classes, and is aimed at creating the longevity of Labour rule as opposed to creating a fair representative party.

Politics shouldn’t be for politics sake, it is for the community to be represented; Thatcher and then Blair have turned the whole process into voting for a party as opposed to the individual. Politicians should simply be the tools of the community; a method of wading through the bureaucratic shit not simply a career like a plumber or electrician.

Unions are more representative of grass roots workers issues than any politician and it will be a big mistake for labour to keep breaking there links.

Can ‘Eddie baby’ really be trusted?

Whilst they talk about more handouts and more benefits what Labour are NOT offering is to give the country back to the working class because no one in Labour is working class.

Ed has turned his back on our brother comrades in the Unions, and stabbed his own brother in the back. I suggest that Eddie ‘baby’ wants to get to power and remain in power for his own political careerism.

However he must remember Labour’s foundations and not take it’s working class heritage as god given. The working class don’t need charity just a level playing field.

Learn how to distance yourself from your working class roots – Part 2.

labour, treachery

First we had Labour treacherously turn against the unions, their life blood, their founding fathers. Now we have Rachel Reeves, deputy shadow chancellor, stating that people earning £60k are not rich, and Labour will only increase tax for those earning over 150k. Fuck me I don’t think I know anyone whose combine income hits this let alone a single income, so does that make them poor?

If we want to live in a country where there are services provided free of charge for those who require them, we have to pay for them, and those who can afford more should pay more. Remember society should be about NEED not greed, and having a large number on your bank statement is not ethically right when there are people struggling to feed themselves.

Labour appear to see their working class roots as a stigma, and distancing themselves from the needs of the majority of this country. FUCK EM’.

Is the Liberals experiance of the Tories driving them further left.

Vince Cable and others have made it clear that they do not see themselves colluding with the Tories again, and may even end the coalition early. Probably quite wise to distance themselves from the evil selfishness that omits from the Tory Party.

Whilst on paper the Liberals look more radical than the Labour Party, they now have form for not doing what they promised – just ask the students. The biggest way forward for the Liberals would be to woo the unions, reinvent themselves as a party for the working classes, striding into grounds that Labour now fear to tread.

If you didn’t think British Politics, especially the Labour Party is jobs for the boys then look at whose sons are aiming to enter Parliament in the next election. Euan Blair had already given up his job at Morgan Stanley to move to a more Government Friendly one.

So you see the future if Labour mapped ahead and I’m sure it has no consideration for the unions or the working classes.

If now isn’t the time for unions to pull their funding altogether from the Labour party and form a new party, I don’t know what is.

Chickens have come home to roost – GMB pulls £1 million fundunding to Labour

funding, GMB, labour, new party

In 1900, the Labour party was founded as a means to gain representation for the working classes, via the trade union movement, in Westminster. Labour emerged as a rival to the two dominant parties, Whigs and Tories, who cared nothing for the lower classes.

Move forward to 2013, the original clause 4 has been removed now for twenty years and Labour has now turned its back on the unions, the very people who gave them a mandate in the first place. As the country moves more towards the times before Labour, (inequality in diet, healthcare, rights of work etc.), it is the time for a new party to emerge. One that will see the current system as nothing more than a pretence, allowing people the belief that they have the power to change with their vote, but really they are voting simply for which party has the spoils with little benefit for you or me.

A new movement could take shape in Britain with Union money, representing the true working class, being led by people who haven’t necessarily even had an education but have an understanding of what their area needs. In another 10 – 20 years Labour could rue the day it closed the door of support to the working classes.

Chuka Umunna announces that Labour will continue to fuck the working class.

labour, poverty, sell out, working class, zero hours

Labour have confirmed that if they will win the next election, they will not ban ‘zero’ working hours. Yes I repeat WILL NOT BAN. I held my breath and waited for the but will prosecute any firm that adopts such exploitative contracts but no. Shadow Business Secretary Chuka Umunna says a future Labour government would not ban zero hours contracts but explore ways of reducing their use, such as establishing a statutory code of practice or forcing employers to offer workers permanent contracts after a certain period.

I was always taught that no matter what else you have in life you do not have to give up your integrity, well Labour gave up theirs years ago but obviously have no conscience about getting it back. As Linton Kwesi Johnson once said ‘Wot about de Workin Class’. The backbone of this country has / is being forgotten; as poverty gets a firmer hold families the more workers are exploited – any work is better than no work. Working Family Tax credit has been rehashed pushing working people closer and closer to poverty (and you don’t get no benefits if you jack in your job).

The only answer that is obvious is that NO political party has any interest in solving the economic situation for the working class, only getting / keeping themselves in power by licking the shoes of those with the purse strings.

Don’t vote – let the mandate be less than 20% and see how any party justifies that they represent the people. Its not as if you are going to make any difference to those who need change by voting anyway. You might as well pray!

Is Chuka Umunna making his move for Labour Leadership

As the knives have been sharpening and the egg thrown, Ed Mlliband is still gaining the backing from the public, so says Chuka Umunna. Shadow business secretary has backed Ed and his leadership style but is this faith in his Ed’s style or positioning himself to be a leadership contender; pulling Ed closer to make sure the knife does stick!

Don’t be surprised to see his hat tossed in the ring once somebody makes their move to challenge the leadership.

If Croydon North By Election is anything to go by………..

by-elections, labour, tory party

then our current democratic system can be compare to a Norweigan Blue!

Only 26% turned up to vote; is it apathy, is it cold or are people fed up with bollocks media hungry candidates who only want to further their own career? Should people be forced to vote, and if so can’t you reject all the candidates stating that you don’t want any of them to represent you?

Choice is only good if the options available are palatable. Politicians need to take a long hard look at the needs of modern society and how these are best served.

Oh yes, Labour won with 64% of the vote; approx 15,699 votes – what a fucking joke. It is the votes for those that lost are more telling:

  • 161 people voted for the Richard Edmonds, National Front, who, whilst in the BNP, admitted that they were 100% racist
  • 1,400 people voted for Winston McKenzie, who agrees that a gay couple adopting a child is equivalent to child abuse
  • 707 people voted for Lee Jasper, who stood for Galloway’s Respect party, who has refused to apologise for stating that rape sometimes is not rape just a misunderstanding.

That’s 2,268 people in the North of Croydon who positively voted for people whose views do NOT have any place in a cohesive community.

Today is Croydon North By-election but I wonder how many candidates actually know the area.

The one thing that pisses me off about by-elections is how political parties manipulate the electorate in order to progress an individuals career rather than specifically represent the needs of the constituency. If you don’t live in the area you are simply bound to all the consultants and advisers – who make a fuckin packet – in order to get a view.

Another thing I have is ‘trendy’, ‘down with the kids’ slogans; Labour are using Steve4Croydon. Fuck me is that the best that Milliband et al could think of………very original – and he’s based in Lambeth, a fucking joke.

South Norwood & Thorton Heath need a hands on MP, who is willing to fight for minorities rights, both locally and nationally. Since Croydon Council became Tory, South Norwood has been continually ignored and mistreated. It not only needs strong representation but someone who works for the area NOT the party.

What it doesn’t need is candidates that advocate for rapists and candidates that are homophobic.
